Notifikasi (Supporting document for Working Permit KITAS)

Technically, IMTA (Izin Mempekerjakan Tenaga Kerja Asing) refers to the Indonesian work permit. According to the minister rule provided in Labor Law in articles 42 and 28, all local enterprises that hire expatriates must have a letter of approval given by Indonesia’s Minister of Manpower – in that instance, it is related with the working permit.

The IMTA duration is no later than one year, which is adjusted with the validity period of the employment plan or RPTKA. To obtain this IMTA, the applicant/foreign worker must pay the DPKK Tax of $100 USD every month to the Minister of Labour and Transmigration Indonesia.
